Overview

Roomable is a web-based/mobile Meeting Space Management Application that can be hosted in the cloud, or on-premise. It allows each employee to book rooms with or without catering and the necessary technical equipment. It offers a janitor view that shows the necessary tasks before and after the event and a catering overview for external or internal catering service. Powerful reports give the necessary information to the administrators to optimise the service and room distribution across the buildings.

A simple and intuitive UI and therefore maximal user acceptance was the top recommendation from the start despite the complexity of the application’s workflow processes.

Roomable is based on the Pack of 7 Framework for Applications with its integrated Language Module. This module is designed to let you chose the languages that you need. It let's the user chose his or her language and it lets you as an administrator edit the application text for different languages. The number of languages you can add is not limited. The languages English, German, Frensh and Spanish are already included in the standard application.

Roomable runs in the Browser and on your Mobile devices with the exact same functionality. So there is no loss on quality or functionality when it comes to the mobile experience.

A configurable EMail notification service takes care that involved users get the information about important changes on a ticket they are connected to. The service can be configured and even completely be switched off.

Roomable is based on the Pack of 7 Framework for Applications with its integrated Configuration Module. This module is designed to let you as the administrator of the application change virtually all texts, threshold numbers etc. that might be different in you use case.

Dashboard

The Dashboard shows information according to the user’s role (user, admin, janitor, caterer, manager). It shows upcoming important events and to-do’s, and it shows diagrams of important information.

Booking System

The booking system lets the regular user book events for one or several days with the option for catering and equipment.  Powered by a configurable AI core that takes care of all in-process and completed bookings, you can feel satisfied knowing over-bookings and other common errors are no longer possible.

Calendar View

The calendar displays all bookings of a selected day and department. The calendar allows users to interact with it via Drag & Drop to edit current bookings allowing for a seamless experience. The user may also create and delete their personal bookings via the calendar so they can visualise each created booking. The addition of viewing any booking also allows for users to gain knowledge of surrounding events and bookings within the company.

Room Display

The Room Display is physically located in front of the room on a device of your choice. It shows the current event and the user can select to view on the upcoming events. It also lets the user create a booking.

Admin Module

The Admin Module lets the administrator of the system edit buildings, rooms, catering options and the equipment for each room or groups of rooms. It also lets him edit user permissions for the system.

The calendar shows all bookings of a selected day of all rooms in one building and it lets the user change the bookings in an easy way via drag & drop, create a new booking or delete a booking. The user can also select a booking and change to the details page of the booking.

A special view for the janitor and a special view for the caterer show their tasks for the day in a lucid format. It also lets them check off the tasks when they are finished.

The Accounting System gives a clear presentation of internal and external billings. It has several filters that reduce the presented information.

It also lets the manager create invoices for each booking.

The Reporting Module creates all kinds of reports for the buildings and rooms and their occupancy performance.
